Eiffel for Zara

Let's get into this look!! Isn't it just adorable and brilliant?! When I thoroughly picked out all my fits for Paris, this one was my favorite!! I was so indecisive about what to wear to the Eiffel Tower. I knew that I wanted to wear a beret of course, because who goes to Paris and not pack a beret? Pictured is a fun, fashionable, and flirty day look. Okay, let's start from the beret!! This black wool material beret is from Amazon! The brand is Jeff & Aimy, only $13.99!!!! The quality is amazing. The best part was the adjustable string in the back. Yessss!!! I was so worried about the hat being too tight and causing a dent in my weave lol. Next, we have this black "Trust the flow" cotton tee-shirt blouse (size medium) with mesh floral sleeves aaaaaahhhhhh!!! I love love love this shirt! I found it for a whopping $20.00 on the clearance rack at Zara! Zara is one of my favorite stores.

When I found this top I automatically knew it was coming to Paris with me. I continued to search on the clearance rack for bottoms. I knew I wanted to wear a skirt or something high waist, because the shirt was kind of short. I wanted to tuck the shirt into my bottoms, that was my vision. Sidebar: I have a long torso, and I usually purchase tops that are longer. I even thought about pairing this top with mom jeans, but then reality kicked in. I can NEVER find mom jeans to fit me properly.....UGH!!! If ya'll know where a curvy sis like me can find the perfect fitting mom jeans let me know!!

Anyway, I'm still on that clearance rack.....BOOM!! There it was a faux leather pink mini skirt with a removable belt in my size, medium. I looked at the price tag, and I almost fainted. It was $20.00! Now, I thought to myself this is my lucky day!! This skirt matches perfectly with my top. I headed to the fitting room and it fit perfectly! I felt like I hit the jackpot. Let me share a tip with you ladies... when shopping for sale/clearance items PLEASE try on the items even if you don't feel like it. Most sale/clearance items cannot be returned. I paid for my 2 items which totaled $40.00 and went home to put this look together!! Yes, I try on all my fits prior to wearing them with every piece and detail (including accessories) when I have a vision, especially for a vacay.

I searched for the perfect shoe in my closet to pair with this fit. I grabbed my Aldo black patent leather ankle boots. These boots are from Aldo, but I purchased them from DSW in Fall 2018. DSW has all the bomb brands OKAAAAAAY. I paid $59.99 for them. These black 40 denier stockings are from Primark, one of my favorite stores! It came in a pack of 5 for only $4.00. The stockings are thick and great quality. You can literally find anything at Primark for dirt cheap. This entire look costs me $114.00.

The inspiration for this look was from Pinterest. I LOVE PINTEREST for just about any and every thing (from DIY projects to recipes). I didn't see this exact look on Pinterest, but I saw many different looks with ankle boots, stockings, and berets when I searched "Paris Style." I decided my look would consist of stockings and a beret for sure. Uniquely, I came up with the rest of this look myself. Please comment below and let me know what you think besties!! Prancing in Paris

In this photo, I was in Paris, France. This photo was taken on February 17, 2020. I purchased this Bone colored faux leather zip front shirtdress from NY & CO on clearance for $40.00, originally $99.95! This dress was purchased in December of 2019 from my local mall. The brand is Gabrielle Union. I love her clothing line!  My snakeskin open toe shoes are from Dr. Jay's Ladies for only $6.99 on clearance. Yup, you're reading that correctly, 7 bucks sis!! It was the last pair, my size!! Of course it was meant for me. It was just my luck, the store was going out of business. I purchased them in February of 2020. This snakeskin purse is from a store in my local mall called Track 23. It was $20.00, and matched perfectly with my shoes. Totally wasn't planned.... The most ironic thing, I purchased the shoes before the purse. I saw the purse months prior to purchasing the shoe. I decided not to get the purse, because I had nothing to match it. Of course, I went home an...

Send Nudes

Hey besties!! I'm finally back! I know it's been a while, but life in COVID. Need I say more? Anyway, I may wear nude for the rest of the year, idk lol. I've been so into this nude/ neutral color trend lately!! I just couldn't wait to tell ya'll about my outfit I wore this past weekend!! Let's get into this look: A couple weeks ago, I was looking for the perfect nude outfit to attend my friend's surprise birthday party. The the dress code was nude. I hopped on the internet to shop as I usually do and I knew I wanted to wear a blazer! I am obsessed with blazers! I found this amazing Oatmilk Latte color faux leather blazer from Macy's backstage by INC for only $45.93. I couldn't believe it was by INC. Im like, okay INC lol they came a long way. It came with matching bermuda faux leather pants for $24.93, however, I didn't like the way the set looked together. If you do not know about Macy's backstage, you haven't lived life yet, lol. Macy...
